I've been creating music since 1990. My father was a guitarist and a violinist, and he taught me how music can move people; create moods and sensations. Scare people, or elate them.
I started off creating musical doodles on an old Amiga 500, and started my first band, Apex, in 1993. After Apex ended I moved into a heavier style, working with a well respected local metal guitarist named Paul Batchelor in 1996 to create an Industiral Techno band called Strange Thingys. The band's roster came and went, and the name changed to I.O.N., but the core of Paul and I remained. Despite the band's eventual parting, Paul and I still work together from time to time.

I am currently engaged in building up a decent recording setup for myself; I have my own electronic project named Red Jackal, and I am collaborating with local DJ and techno terrorist Yamon Darkside to create dark, nasty and raw electronic soundscapes that people can dance to. With the acquisition of more technology freeing me to experiment more, I'm enjoying making music more than ever.
I would list my primary influences as Depeche Mode, Meat Beat Manifesto, Nitzer Ebb, Coil, Finitribe, and the work of Clive Barker.
