I was born in Luton in 1973. My earliest memory is going to see Star Wars at a local cinema, and the experience was definitely a great influence on me. Sketching in my books at school more than writing in them, I left college early and started my first band. Shortly afterwards I discovered the massive potential of 3D animation and, discovering a talent for composition and mechanical detail, I set about teaching myself what I could.
Since an early age I have been artistically inclined, so it was a natural progression to start creating things of my own. A childhood fascination with toy soldiers and giant robots grew into a hobby, a passion, and a limitless supply of inspiration.
I've been working in 3D using Newtek's Lightwave software since 1998; however few examples of my early work still exist (which is probably for the best, to be honest). I usually work without the use of plans or sketches; I prefer my models to simply happen. Although I am capable of working to designs I find this approach allows me to break away from conventional thinking and put more of myself into my work.
I have done various private commissions, and also some commercial work for Electrolux. I like doing work for other people; I find the challenge stimulating and exciting, and I always strive to produce my best work. I have never seen no point in doing any less. As with all artists my work is constantly evolving in complexity and style.

This website houses what I consider to be the best work I have produced since I felt my work was good enough to keep; I hope you enjoy it.
